Texel are back with their new album “Metropolitan”.

The music cooperative formed and fronted by Danish Keyboard player Steffen Staugaard and UK Guitarist Neil Gowland have invited a variety of great musicians to play on this release.

“Metropolitan” also features special guests; former Focus guitarist Niels van der Steenhoven, world renowned drummer Marco Minnemann and Tigermoth Tales Peter Jones on vocals.

Metropolitan is composed of 10 brand new instrumental tracks and 1 vocal song.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer. Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch.
